March is Women's History Month and what a better way to celebrate than with an all woman artist gallery at Studio Lounge! The From Here to Her Artist Collective organized the show and supported TRUE Skool by accepting donations at their gallery opening. They raised $355 for TRUE Skool's Be Girl Project! We are grateful not only to be included in this event, but to also have the opportunity to have our very own DJaylen and Savannha perfom as well!

Hip Hop related Film/Documentary Screenings and Talk-Backs
Film Screenings occured the last Wednesday of every month, February 26th-November 26th,2014
Location: TRUE Skool, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave, Suite 1000 (LL below TJ Maxx on the Plankinton side of the Grand Ave Mall), Milwaukee, WI 53203
As we celebrate our 10 year anniversary, we also want to acknowledge Hip Hop's contributions to societial trends, politics, relationships,the music/entertainment industry and youth development through film. After each film screening we will host a 30 minute talk-back to discuss important themes in each film or offer a hands on activity that highlights our programming.
