International Turntablism Icons at the 2026 Summer Park Jam

Updated: 16 hours ago

UP until recently.....The preservation of Hip Hop Culture as an art form has long relied on grassroots architecture—local institutions like TRUE Skool, we treat the culture not as a nostalgic relic, but as an active living textbook to learn & teach from #wearetrueskool

This SUMMER PARK JAM WEEKEND in August 14th & 15th, 2026

DJ Rob Swift and Mista Sinista, performing collectively under their official moniker "Da Odd Couple", are locked to headline our 2026 Summer Park Jam Weekend!! Whoa!

For the uninitiated, Swift and Sinista are alumni founders

of The X-Ecutioners, the legendary New York City DJ collective that elevated turntablism from party-rocking to an aggressive, niche, battle discipline in the 1990s and 2000s. It's still poppin!

Our two-day engagement in Milwaukee at Summer Park Jam Weekend is structured to bridge the gaps between Hip Hop History & Creative Business Industry Education and Public Performance Arts & Culture. This is our 8th year hosting SPJ with Marcus Center! Shout out to everyone that has supported!

Our SPJ itinerary always balances entrepreneurial instruction with the raw energy of an outdoor Milwaukee Hip Hop jam!!
