FUTURE BUILDERS APRIL 25 + 26

'26 Future Builders - BIM Coordination Workshop

TRUE - Skool Legacy Project Part 1

Step into how real buildings come together. Building on the momentum from the recent Mortenson Construction Museum tour, this workshop introduces students to how coordination drives the process of turning ideas into functional spaces. As part of the ongoing TRUE Skool Legacy Project — a real effort to plan and develop a future TRUE Skool campus — this session connects students directly to the people and decisions that move a project from idea to reality. We're grateful to every volunteer and industry partner who makes experiences like this possible.

Led by BIMTM, students will explore coordination as a career — what these professionals do, what they earn, and how to get there. Through discussion and hands-on activity, students will see firsthand how building systems come together and why coordination is one of the most in-demand roles in construction today.

The weekend kicks off Saturday with BIMTM's presentation and a student exercise, continuing Sunday morning before closing with the TRUE Skool Legacy Project Kickoff — an HGA-led discussion exploring the campus vision, where early planning stands today, and what's ahead for TRUE Skool's future home.
