The annual weeklong city-wide event celebrating the culture of Hip-Hop features performances, seminars, and an array of other events focused on civic engagement, voter registration, wellness and mental health, financial literacy, and exploring pathways to success.

Who Can Sign Up?
Ages 13 & Up!
Open to beginners — no experience needed!
Must complete registration in advance (no walk-ins).
How Many Spots Are Available?
Only 12 spots per class to ensure hands-on learning.
First-come, first-served — don’t wait to register!
Can I Sign Up for More Than One Class?
You may only sign up for ONE class during the week - To give as many people as possible the chance to learn.

Each 2-hour TRUE Knowledge Session includes:
Hands-on time with both vinyl & digital DJ gear
Q&A session with a special guest DJs
Tips on equipment, career paths & getting started
Info on how to join future TRUE Knowledge classes.
